Jetsam Day - Oct 16th

As of October 2006, the Jetsam ranked 43rd out of 50+ species on the site. 725,000 lives in Neopia. Originally, Jetsam looked like tiny piranha - but was changed into sharks on June 22, 2000.

Jetsams are shark-like creatures, possibly related to the similarly aquatic Flotsam. They tend to be unfriendly and are powerful fighters. The Jetsam was one of the original Neopets.

Due to their habitat and food source loss during the destruction of Maraqua, they are limited edition. A few may be made available on the site periodically; players can also use certain items to change their pets into Jetsams.

In the Neopets TCG, Jetsams are associated with the element of water.

Famous Jetsams include:
* Spectre

The self-appointed, undisputed ruler of cheat. When his red eyes are staring at you, you can just feel them scanning your every movement... watching every move in your face. If you cheat, he will know, there is no doubt about that. Spectre is a Neopian millionaire, and only ventures out of his mansion when inexperienced players are up for a fleecing.

He was seen in the "Brucey B and the Lucky Coin" Plot too.

Relle Felson

Relle Felson is one players for 2006's Altador Cup, and a Right Forward for Kiko Lake. Due to the weakened condition of fellow forward Helmo Timm, Felson has been asked to provide the bulk of Kiko Lake's offensive firepower (in the face of constant double-teaming, no doubt). It's a challenge he relishes, though, and sees as an opportunity to make a name for himself.
