King Altador

There aren't many information about this King (and maybe that's why he's not feature in the magazine) except that he is the ruler of Altador.



History of Altador
Long cherished as one of the most outstanding kingdoms in all Neopia, Altador nearly faded completely into myth before making a recent reappearance. Word is quickly spreading that two young heroes, a Lupe and an Acara, had something to do with the great city's restoration. Now, thanks to the aid of Queen Fyora herself, it seems that the Darkest Faerie is once again trapped... this time in a place where Fyora can keep a close eye on her.

With the Darkest Faerie gone, the kingdom of Altador is no longer at risk, which is why it's been made accessible through a portal located in Faerie City. The citizens of Altador are still somewhat dazed by the thousand years that have passed since they were last free, but they seem to be slowly recovering. It appears, however, that many are having trouble remembering the impressive history of their city.

Who is King Altador?
King Altador is the ruler and founder of Altador, the kingdom that bears his name. A noble Lupe and hunter, he was was the original hunter of the 12 heroes of Altador.



This is his story in The Altador Plot which started on March 17th, 2006.





It is said that "Even King Altador himself, when he wasn't holding court, would help place stones and build walls side by side with the his subjects."

If you have completed his plot, you can visit him daily at his Council Chamber where he will hang out goodies.

If you have not done this plot, it's still playable.

According to Issue: 261 of the Neopian Times released on 13th day of Collecting, Y8 :

Question: Just wondering, how long do I have to complete the Altador Quest before it closes? I'm also wondering if it WILL close, because I think it's kinda annoying to go to Altador on my side accounts and have an unfinished quest. Don't close it on my part!! If you have no intention of doing so that's fine. ~pirate_cove

Answer: The Altador Plot is open indefinitely, which means that, for now, we don't have any intention of closing it (but that may change in the future). Rest assured that, if we were to close it, we would announce it in New Features first to give anyone in the middle of the plot some time to complete it. Also, don't forget that you may not do the plot on side accounts, even if you don't finish. ;)
